Eight O’Clock Coffee, Bokar Blend Whole Bean, 12-Ounce Bag
After years of trying to brew a cup of coffee at home that tasted as good as that in a good restaurant, I mastered the 3-legged method: a grinder to finely grind the beans just before brewing, a drip-style coffee maker, and Bokar-blend coffee. Make it strong! Bokar is the only full-strength, yet non-bitter, coffee I have found. And Commadore Perry? Leaving for his trek to the North Pole, he was quoted as explaining why he was taking Bokar coffee with him, “I will be facing many privations; at least I can have the best coffee.”

Have enjoyed 8 O’Clock Bokar Blend many times. I like variety so I swap around a lot. But every time I buy Bokar blend I enjoy it. I am not a coffee snob, but appreciate a good smooth, flavorable cup of coffee.

I was very disappointed in these. I am trying to use them up by mixing with some fresh roast beans when grinding them. These seem like old stock because the beans are practically dessicated and not fresh roasted at all. No sheen on the bean to speak of. A lot like your typical pack of hotel coffee. Would not recommend or reorder.

This is the only coffee we use — rich but never with an edge. So glad that Amazon is carrying it and making it more available, with less hassle.

I use whole bean coffee in my super-automatic Saeco espresso machine. I have tried several different brands, all of which have their own unique qualities that could make them anyone’s favorite. The beans are not super oily, making them suitable for machines like mine. The flavor is balanced, and I can achieve decent crema (not the best, but never will with a superauto). For everyday needs, and with the subscription price, Bokar Blend is a very good value for my tastes. I would recommend this to a friend! They may be as pleasantly surprised as I!
